No kidding manny !! I talked to him last night but he did not mentioned anything, I guess he did not know for sure when the car was arriving.

I am going to call him tonite and I want to take pics of his car and get a ride tomorrow as well. I am really really happy for him. It is about time man, It has been a few months since I have seen that car.

I just talked to Abner and he is very very happy to have his car back. We are going to have a Evo meeting tomorrow at Sonic in Broadway BLVD so I will take my camera and take some pics.

Abner was telling me that his car feels very torquy. For those those of you that missed the whole thing he is breaking in a new 2.3l motor

Hi Sergio, thank you!
I am trying to break the motor in "gently", dont think i can do with w/ the water injection system in!
Will wait till the break in period is done, the prolly will do a shurflo/aquamist hybrid system......since the system was uninstalled when the new motor was put in.
Have you got your meth kit in yours yet?

.

Sorry Abner.. I forgot that you ended with the 4g64. Whatever the case might be, it is a lot of torque. By the way, are you still bringing the car to Sonic tonite? Just let me know.

Abner,

In response to your question to Sergio about if he has the Meth Kit let me tell you something, Sergio tried about 10-15 times calling and e-mailing PDT but by the time he was contacted back he had virtually no time for install nor tuning.

This was very bitter from my point of view, I am the one that convenced Sergio to do the Alky, I suggested him to go with the SMC and he told me that since his car was running very well with PDT that he would prefer his water system to be installed and tune by PDT.

PDT gave Sergio some decent prices for water system install and tuning unfortunately the follow-up was mediocre... Sergio called me every single day from the Northeast updating me about his "deal" with PDT. At one point I was also enthusiastic about Sergio(Evofunk) having his car retune with Water.

Unfortunately PDT took excesively too long to not only respond him but also to take care of him in the sense of urgency(Sergio was on the North East just for a few weeks).

You can call it bad luck or you can call it unfortunate, I definately call it lack of customer service. PDT had a great chance with Sergio but they did not responded to him in a timely manner.

I am sorry if I am bringing the dirty dishes again (I don't really mean it) but that is what really hapened. Anyway, that is your answer.

Carlos

Hey Abner, welcome back. Sounds like your new engine is a little torque monster. Keep me posted on your water injection set up for this combination.

Carlos, this matter happened quite awhile back. Things has changed for the better, let the matter rest.

Like I said Abner, I don't want to bring the dirty clothes to this forum, I will keep it low key per your request and for the benefit of the doubt for PDT.

Anyway, have fun in Austin, have a couple of beer for me in 6th street.

I will see you this weekend. Drive safe.

I finally decided not to go the alky way since my car will be in Germany next month and if something could've go wrong with the kit over there I'd be totally hopeless since this type of technology is not known in Europe. The car is fast enough for me and I recently added the BR UICP nd the small battery kit...right now I'm getting care of the suspension; I already installed coilovers, spacers and I just ordered a 25mm rear sway bar. 18x9 Weddsports SA-70s will complete my project Evo

Cheers!
