The car was very difficult to launch. The first pass it was running 24-25psi. The car bogged and ran a 2.1 60'. That was good for 11.5 at 128.
Second run the boost spiked up and lifted the head. The added boost pressure along with increased cylinder pressure brought the temp up and made the head lift off the block.
The driver felt a loss in pressure and lifted. So the car ended with a let off when going in to fifth and ran a 12.1.
After we checked compression the car had fallen across the board to 130. Instead of risking anything we stopped running to make it happen for another day.
The problem will be remedied this week and we will up and running this weekend.
This is part of racing and R&D to make the car stable.
Stay tuned.
