I am really looking forward to your dyno graphs with the new FP Super99, since I ordered one for my I5 Audi 2,6L and I am not sure what spool to expect from it. Your graphs can be like a banchmark for me... although our engines are totally different. My best 1/4 mile run so far is 9.6@243km with 1.62 60ft

Boostin, how many times did you guys have to rebuild your 6766 in the past few years of running it??

Never once, the ball bearing PTE turbo's hold up well to high boost. The journal bearing setup is not as reliable as the ball bearing. |
Can you guys overlay the 6766, 3794, and super 94 with some boost charts or logs possibly? :)

Sorry but that is not possible. The 6766 vs. 3794 plots where on a different Mustang Dyno. We didn't have our Mustang Dyno here at Boostin yet. We did 3794 vs. Super 94, 6766 vs. Super 99, and Super 94 vs. Super 99 since we got our Mustang Dyno here at Boostin. |

Thank you for taking your time to do this test. Very interesting. I almost wonder if you could even tell the 2 apart driving on the road. They look so close its scary lol.
Again, very cool comparison and thank you. I am also curious to see how a Bullseye S366 stacks up. This would be a real, as well as a fair test to see if the Batmowheel is just as good. In theory it should be right up there with these two beasts. I already purchased my 6766 but I had a friend offer me one of his T3 Bullseye S366 turbochargers off of his twin turbo Corvette. I was extremely tempted but I passed on it for the PT unit being that so many people have proven it. Either way I kind of look back and wonder how that S366 would really work if setup properly. They look top notch. |
