I've also been spending money on other upgrades and that's taken away from my cash flow for the turbo. I bought some Robispec KW Race coilovers (for dirt cheap), corner balanced them etc so that took a big chunk of change. :) I am a budget modder with limitations on my ability to spend so I do everything as cost efficiently as possible... so when a deal for freshly rebuilt Robispec Races for $1250 comes up, I gotta jump on it. {thumbup} My bad... I will try to speed things up. The turbine housing is the same on the evo 9 turbo and evo 8.5, so a 2005 evo 8 tubine housing would also work, should be able to pick one up for about 100 bucks |

I think the red has more up top the ef2.5 but this should out spool the red.

How long till you get the turbo?
I'm planning on sending mine in 2 weeks and having it converted after my issue with my ef2 is resolved :) |

Haha good stuff. My EF2.5 will be tuned Monday or Tuesday. So we'll have results finally. I'll post my results here and in my thread. Also in the MAP EF series thread. Wish me luck guys lol

GL! kinda excited also.. Been eyeing this turbo and kinda want to see the results around the same set up as me! Might have to start saving up pennies for this bad boy.
Maybe i missed it eariler in this thread.. But what is the estimated cost of sending in stock 8 turbo with 10.5 for the ef2.5? Hope all goes well! |
