HEY GUYS I REALLY NEED SOME SUPPORT!!

AMS IS COMING OUT WITH A CAST TURBO KIT IN WEEKS TIME, I NEED AT LEAST 5 SUPPORTERS AND IF THERE ARE, THE KITS MIGHT ACTUALLY COME TI LIFE) FORZA TWINSCROLL FOR THE EFR!!!!!

^ Trying to get AMS to issue a TS exhaust manifold is like pi$$ing into the wind. I've been petitioning them to make one for years. If some EFR results start coming in, and if we still don't have any quality manifolds for the IWG versions, then I'll commission someone to custom fab one for me - 3.5" DP and all.

As soon as the EFR line fully starts to ship I am sure we will see plenty of fabricators offering a TS manifold for them. I don't see any need to try to convince AMS to redesign a cast manifold set up for Precision turbo's only. Plus the only real benefit I see to this AMS cast V-band is added strength. Something that is not really an issue if you buy a top shelf manifold with a lifetime guarantee anyways.

Just wait for either a Full-race, Shearer, ETS, or Toxicfab solution for the EFR line in an evo.

Pretty sure that AMS have been making T4 Twinscroll kits for ages; GT40 and 42R variants...

Good talking to you on the phone today :) Can't wait to see what the future holds for your build. When you get everything installed send me a picture of the titanium magnus upper pipe we built with no blow off valve :) I would love to have an installed pic.

Here is a picture of the front motor mount I was talking about over the phone. This mount would give you additional space. We use this to mount a 42R in the stock location with a full width radiator.

Nothing quite like single shear!

Believe it or not, thats one of two routing methods I had in mind.

Its actually one of the ideal ways to route the wastegates. He may not have room to rotate the outlet. I had another way to route it, but unless I had 3D drawings I wouldnt be able to say for sure if it would work or not. The way he has it I knew would work, and quite well in fact.


Im sure ToxicFab could come up with great manifold in a reasonable amount of time to fit the EFR turbos. Collin is the first person on the board I would approach about making a custom manifold.

Still waiting for 7670 results...

The silence from all of these efr owners isn't a good sign. :( the anticipation is killing me and I don't even own the turbo. I have a car prepped and ready to be tested if anyone wants to send me theirs. :D

so close yet so far... I will post more pics of the progress in a day or so...

that efr sure needs to be worth all this fabrication and alterations.
