I know it's not the TS set-up most in this thread are looking for but our dyno should be back up and running since the move and we'll hopefully have results on the SS 8374 soon :)

it is the TS setup numbers we looking for....................
come on guys this turbos were released long time ago where is the numbers...

R/TErnie Aug 8, 2011 10:11 AM

Get with it Patrick, I'd like to see some 8374 numbers regardless of housing on an Evo... (other than the obvious SSE numbers...done at altitude...on an unknown MD dyno)

Doesn't FullRace have any numbers? They helped BW with the creation of this right?

We're working on it!

Rollers were lowerd into the pit last week......wiring is being taken care of and we just need to run an air line from our compressor and then we should be able to run some tests and get back to tuning cars again :D

We have about 10-20 guys that need to get on the dyno but i'm hoping Sean decides to put a tune on this particular Evo sooner than later......

im pretty sure the testing they did was on pre production units. all the production turbos they are getting are flying out the door to customers. my build is going a little slower than anticipated so i sent my turbo back and they sent it to someone that was desperate for one. they are trying to get them into the hands of people to get results out so its not a lack of effort by full-race.

No, just like the EFR marketing campaign, this thread does not deliver.

the single biggest issue has been that BW had to fire 2 of their suppliers for not meeting requirements. This happened midstream and the good news is their new suppliers are 100% up to speed and the EFR drought is expected to come to an end over the next 4 weeks. I understand the skepticism and dont blame you. I can tell you that everything ive seen up to this point shows the technology works as intended... but i dont expect people to take this as gospel without seeing it first hand.

the World Time Attack in australia happened last weekend and EFR turbos/Full-Race had a good showing. SSE stepped up to the 9180 and a straight cut trans. After SSE took 1st place with a 1:29.0 Cyber evo accused SSE of using Nitrous b/c they believed no way a car that heavy could go that fast without nitrous... although cyber ended up winning by 0.17 seconds due to SSE breaking the transmission when they turned the boost all the way up on their EFR 9180. there were 3 other EFR entires at the event iirc - ill ask any of them if they are willing to share the dynocharts. Id love to do some dyno testing with my personal evo but i dont get a turbo until our customer backorders are filled

R/TErnie Aug 9, 2011 09:49 AM

didn't know SSE broke their gear box. :(

Good to know they weren't on full kill mode when they ran their fast time :)

The wait for dyno sheets is killing me. I'm waiting on buying a turbo until I see these numbers. You know how it is. If I bought something else and didn't wait on the numbers it would come out the next day and be the most awesome thing since sliced bread!
