The 2003 is much more rare than an EVO9. Just to be clear. It is also the first ever available in the US. The car is worth every penny. As far as the Barrett Jackson comments these car will be going for big bucks 40 yrs from now. There are no 2003 cars that sell for big bucks at a collector car auction. Many cars that go through the auctions now are modified.

Yes, it is pretty short sighted to laugh about these cars being collectors items.
to be fair, there are a LOT of unlikely cars, from the past, that are collectors now. if things continue to go the electric/hybrid route.. i could see these being pretty desirable at some point. but still... |
i wouldnt pay that much for a 03-04 evo they dont hold there value as much as the 05-06 do...but the millage is prestige

This might be a better way to track the price. Auto trader will updated with our website. The CL ad is managed by someone else all together. It gets put up once and never changed until its deleted.

That's incredibly low mileage for an 03, I think the price is about right for that mileage in a dealership and the shape that the car is in. I thought my IX was low@9k miles, but this is insane.
|
I had an 03 sold it with 70k on it back in 2006 I'm trying to find the vin of mine to see if this one might of came over on same boat or built in the same month.

These cars were assembled in Illinois. Well at least I know the 05's and 06's were.

I have a 2006 IX and my rear windows also say made in Japan on them. Thats because the window IS made in Japan but the car is assembled in Normal Illinois. Go check the little sticker on the inside of the driver side door and see where it was assembled/made. Lol :) it might be different so im just curious. Thanks!!!

Alright grammar police. Troll elsewhere plz. Thx.
|
Ive owned 3 evos and the '05 and my current '06 IX both say assembled in Normal IL on the sticker where the tire pressure is at on the inside of the driver side door. I had a '03 yellow 8 for a brief period of time and I dont remember what that same sticker said on that one. Thats why I was asking. Enough said lol.
