Hey guys whats up, not much here. I am getting rid of my rrm downpipe and axle back, im getting a custom exhaust done. Dont know if anyone knows but these two mods at a decent amount of power to the RA, especially the downpipe. I am not getting rid of them because there broken or have problems, i just need a cxustom exhaust made that is wider like 2.5 because im goign turbo very soon, so i have no use for them. how much for the downpipe? and, i'm sure this has probably been posted, does it cause the check engine light to come on? if so, can you fix it?

Downpipe causes CEL...
If you want to fix that and be legal (depending on your guidelines) you should take it to a custom exhaust/muffler shop & have a catalytic converter welded into the downpipe... But that will take away hp gained...

Or the best way probably... Swap it the day before you go for emissions testing!!!

In that case while driving look at your CEL light... Then use a finger to cover it up...

hahahahahah good solution, yeah even if you have emissions test it takes about 30 minutes at most to switch the stock pipe with the downpipe

 

What turbo kit are you getting?

 

im makin up my own, the hard part is finding a manifold or making my own. Oh and guys i have only had people ask about my downpipe, the axle back is for sale to lol so if anyone isinterested lemme know ok

 

wat are u going to do about timing for the mivec engine?
