Hey guys, I need to get rid of the last few things off my car... so, somebody can have an Evo VIII wheel with airbag for only $375 shipped. its in great shape and i can post a pic if needed. i have pics of it in other threads so if you cant wait for a pic, search.

 

Some pics would be nice, I might be interested in it in April, don't have the money right now.

Wow you must really want to get rid of it! They go for 1800 at the dealer and used ones have sold for 800! What are you doing? Trying to ruin it for the rest of us?!?

just FYI but it is technically illegal to ship an airbag, due to it being considered an explosive device. If you do ship it, make sure its packaged and you "forget" to mention anything other than "car-part."

You're right, it does sell at the dealer for a lot - $1200 and change, not quite as high as $1800. Thanks for all the bumping!!

Sneaky, I've bought, sold, and shipped airbags before via UPS without any problem. The dude behind the counter said that as long as it isnt being tampered with inside the box or hooked up to any type of sensor, it is fine since there isnt any way it would "go off." Thanks for the input though.

 

nobody will ever pay 1800 for a damn steering wheel, there is nothing that good about it that its worth that much. it has the name momo on it and it is smaller than the stock lancer wheel. whoever paid 800 for a steering wheel has too much money to blow. congrats for selling tho i guess 375 isn't that bad of a price......

 

oh, and its visually more appealing, forgot that one

maybe they are so expensive becuase they come with airbags, i could see in that case since its expensive to get an airbag reinstalled in a car after it goes off.
