Why not a Ralli///Art? Then you could stay in the family.

The aftermarket for the RA is definately picking up. Plus they have a great torque curve.

Go test drive a civ then a RA. The choice should be easy.

Plus I think you get loyalty money from Mitsu, so your RA sticker price would be under 17k.

i dispise the honda scene for what it has become, but i cant diss hondas. sure your not gonna be original no matter what you do but that doesnt take away from the fact your getting a reliable, well built car.
congrats on your new car man. no matter what anyone says, IMO you traded up.im not into the style of the si but if you like it thats all that matters.

Thumbs up

Congrats on your new car ! I just did the opposite as you, traded in my Honduh for a Lancer and expect the following to come:

1. More expensive insurance
2. More expensive payments
3. More chances of theft
4. Less head turning on coolness

Plus, the SI is a whole heck of a lot faster than any lancer. But i guess, most things are. Whats the 0-60 on the Lancer? like 9 or 10 seconds?

I guess none of you know about the MDX recalls. How about the 01-03 CL recalls? Or what about 01 TL? Yea.. honda.. reliable, they just pump out so many that the ratio of good cars versus failed ones out weighs most other companies. Don't think for a second that just because it is a honda it is 100% reliable, always have doubt.

Just wanted to say good bye and enjoy your new toy. I have to agree though that there are just too many Honda's in this world. At least where I am anyways. I counted the other day on a 5 block stretch, 14 Hondas, mostly civics and Accords. There are like 1 Honda to every three people where I live. I like being one of the only three Lancers I've seen here.

Hey man, good luck with the Si. A friend has a silver one with 18" gunmetal Enkeis, some cf, and a nice drop...it doesn't suck. Just don't fondle your shifter too much. ~Later~

Now I feel dirty after the test drive...

Seriously, though, the Si is a very well made car, all built in the UK. The quality of this car is the highest among all Honda cars according to Consumer Reports or some other big mag. Rally style shifter does look and feel funny, but it saves you time when you shift 'cause it's so close to the steering wheel.

OK smart guy, i never said they were 100% reliable. NO CAR company is. But the ratio of good cars to failed ones is VERY high, one of the highest in the market, and CERTAINLY higher than mitusbishi.

having 95% of your cars work is better than having 60% of them work, but that was never the issue in the first place.

I'm interested in the HIDs and possibly the grill. PM me, especially with pics of the damage of the grill and the color of the HIDs.
