me likey carbon fiber...i would do a even up trade...but i know that attaching it would be a ***** cause the little metal clips under neath are one time use....so how do you re attach it and let me see a pic of the fray

Hmmm - are our consoles different? On mine, the boot is glued to a piece of plastic that is then screwed into the console. Not sure how close they are, though.

Dunno about even trade either - this thing cost me $25. I'd like to get $5 or $10. I'll get a picture of the fray tonight. (it's in the front currently, so you really can't see it).

They're blurry and a little too close, but it was hard to get a good shot.

The spot shown is a small area that sits just under the shift knob when the boot is placed loosely. If you have the boot placed tighter, it may be hidden. If you have a short shifter, I'm sure it'll be hidden (if you place it right).

Let me know. If you don't buy it, I may just send it back and b*tch the guy out.
