the 400 a month isnt because I drive an Evo, its bc I have SR22 as well for no damb reason though( accussed of racing at Nopi a few yrs back). Moe SR22 is where u are headed...lol... the only way around it is to not have a car in your name and u can get nonowners insurance for like 100 a month. my Evo is mine, along with my house and everything else, so theirs no way around it for me unless someone wants to put my Evo in their name. funny how I have a 150,000 dollar house and it cost me barely more than my Evos insurance.

 

Lol well Jason you and I are in the same boat... I got charged ith open container (not my fault!) and Possesion and Cosumtion by a minor (19yrs), you see I took m friend to the local store which is right around the corner from my house.. and the guy walked by and seen his beer can in my cup holder (my luck) so I was forced to take the breathlizer test blew a .004 anyways... so I got to spend the night in jail my first major offense), actually the only time I've ver been in jail... so I get ready to move to texas I need insuarance and I called USAA, and the said I would get a SR-22 ( 5-4 pointson my drving record) at any rate I was lke no! lol I'll drive without, (never had insurances on my LS yet) so will they suspend my license, i know that as soon as I register it over in Texas ill need it which will suck because in a way the are foricng me into it.. but the lady called me and lol left a message on my phone I have not called her back :P damn damn damn that sucks really bad

 

haha!! I am actually doing the same thing right now, without ins. , but i will tell u this, your license is suspended without it, and the 3 yrs you have to carry SR-22 doesnt start until u get your license back and pay for insurance. you shouldnt have to carry it on a 4 pt ticket however. So, unfortunately fess up and get this crap taken care of.
