your thinking of this all wrong... it's more of a supportive mod for perfomance. You won't gain 20hp from it... rather it will compliment your car so that you're not restricted by fueling issue. NA guys will feel a smoother powerband but not a gian in it. Turbo guys are the same.

Think of this mod like a quick shifter... while it is just a shifter it supports a faster built car. The car itself is only fast if it has the mods to make it that way and a driver to drive it correctly. The shifter has no performance gain really it is just a way to support the better driver in shifting quicker. The fuel rail supports the mods to your car by ensuring there is plenty of fuel in the chamber when the injector pulses.

I'll make a change to this as well... if you don't want the two tapped/plugged holes let me know and you can have the enlarged rail for $110 shipped.

For the record:

Large rail w/o 2 tapped holes= $110 shipped.
Large rail w/2 tapped holes= $150 shipped.

I prefer the non tapped holes big time as that is the biggest pain to do in the whole process. Let me know guys. I've got a few people sending me stock rails back and i've found a couple in the junk yard i could buy.

it will effect us a bit by giving lancers ( MT & AT also ) a smoother powerband by ensuring adequate fuel is provided to the injectors. We won't feel a whole lot but our cars will be a bit smoother on accelleration

Hey Boe - a couple of quick questions........

1. Since you're sending me a tapped rail - can i add a fuel press guage ?

2. Does anyone know what the max fuel pressure is

I found two different autometer guages - one for 15 psi max and one for 100 psi max. i want to get one but i need to know what i am working with.

thnx

you can put a guage in the car... you'll need a couple 90 degree fittings if you want the gauge to be right on the rail... otherwise you'll have to put a hosebarb fitting into the rail and hose the guage where you want it. The stock fuel pressure is around 32-38psi and at full throttle can be 42-48psi. Turbo'd guys will see 70-80psi. This should help you in your selection.
