I'm thinking about selling my car and maybe stepping into an Evo next. I was on eBay and saw this Evo VI for sale. Can anyone tell me anything about it on here other than what is listed..? That would be nice to have I think.

Title says 1980 Mitsubishi Lancer. Then it says it's a Raliart 1999 Mistubishi Lancer Evolution VI 6 RS 2 EVO. What gives?

above all else i can tell you it wont be legal in the US......and theres no way you can afford to legalize one unless you will just be using it as a race car only, then it doesnt matter. thats even if its a valid ad considering the seller has no feedback at all......

sorry, but i have a hard time believing that.........im not sure how they accomplished that, if at all. you can register a car as a race only vehicle i'm pretty sure. if you are that interested you should be sending these questions to the seller not us. however, there is no way it would pass US emissions, none the less crash safety. UK spec only vehicles, ARE NOT legal on the streets in the US

I remember reading something about a JDM car seller on ebay that ebay automatically registers nonUS vins as 1980. All skylines, jdm evos, etc etc have 1980.

Thanks... As far as the VIN goes, you can enter all 1's and eBay wont do anything to the title. I don't know.

Seems strange how he wont give anyone the VIN until after it was already purchased. Not to mention he has 0 feedback and just registered yesterday. I would stay away from this.
