Was it a complete private party sale, meaning you didn't use Paypal? If so, I agree you just leave yourself open to getting completely ripped off by not waiting for payment to arrive. Hard way to learn that lesson.

at the computer board i frequent where alot of trading goes on, newbies usually ship first to established traders. the for-sale forums are alot more strict then anywhere else ive seen especially compared to car boards. they have alot more rules and the moderators are much more involved, its all for the better, so people dont get crap stuff and/or ripped off.

i'm sorry to see that the original poster of this never updated everyone on the situation. the buyer, Russya, did in fact send out a USPS money order to the seller upon receipt of the suspension, but the seller's wife picked the MO up out of the mail and didn't tell him. I am friends with the buyer and he is not a scammer by any means.

 

Not in Utah otherwise would pay a visit. Sorry to hear about that. Just goes to show nowdays cannot trust anybody.
