I dont know JMS assembly habits or how they will do it. I know they put the head cams shorty together and oil pan. the rest of how they operate is a msystery for me dude lol. Im not doing it therefore im sure whatever system they use will work. as every single car you saw in those pics besides two were fully built by JMS. These guys dont play round hommie they love to build. Just like there tshirt built to race. Im the only built 2.4 there so thats cool

naa man Marti let me down . he did not have any serpintine belts or headgaskets in stock. Of course i asked him for the headgasket after the fact of ordering and getting my parts. I did not know till that 2.4 reiablity thread that i needed anew gasket mikey LOL. Remeber this is my first tango with the 2.4. KEEP IN MIND NO EVOS AROUND ME NOR SHOPS so not like i can go and get information. once im done with this build which i basically am ill be versed in the 2.4(4g64) better as i am with the 2.3(4g63). That why i have people like yourself around to keep me on track

ya he took your engine apart very quickly thats for sure lol. how much eta did they say your car has for completion? im trying to figure out what color i want my valve cover to be..... im thinking some kind of purple/blue mirror finish chameleon or something. needs to look like a mirror

i bet they put the trans on the motor and put it back in with everything assembled, thats what most shops probably do.

omg you ricer!

when i was google imaging valve cover colors i found your cardomain http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3123213

the inside of your car - if you want to keep that blue you better do the entire thing. ever seen those show cars that look like tubs? they do it to the dash and everything..... looks awesome - i recommend you do that to yours. i dont like the pieces of blue trim without seeing it everywhere.

To give you heads up I just added a thread in the Installs section but the AEM oil Pressure gauge needs a adapter. If you want to install in the head like I did you need the Auto Meter part number 2269 and if you want to install above the Oil Filter in one of the blank holes its a 6mm Hex socket trust me you want a socket there and 42 Draft sells the adapter which is 3/8 NPT and 1/8 BSPT on a 45 degree elbow to clear the areas so you dont have issues. If you have a Advance Auto they can get it for 12.60 for the auto meter and 42 draft sells them at 16.00+ s/h. But you have a nice build so far.

nice infomation to know but i will not be installing my guages JMS Racing will. Jorge has hooked up plenty of AEM oil pressures guages in fact when I was there i watch/help him hook up aem boost oil pressure wideband. He soldered the wires heat sinked wrapped them. Really nice job he did. Professional and the ultimate test the guages work LOL.
