Happy early birthday Rock

I will not be staying down there. Ty at ER has been driving my car the past few days. Any problems that may come up should be all sorted out before the dyno on Tuesday. I'm sure everything will be smooth. It is not ER's first trip around the block

Ya I'm excited! I'll be at ER around noon. Also just talked to Aaron. My motor is still a baby so we are limiting hp to 550 tomorrow. I will break it in to 1500 miles and then will go back for the retune late June. I get to keep everyone on their toes a few more weeks.

what is the actual proper way to break in a motor is my questions so many views on this to be honest. should you stay out of boost for 500 miles or should you be pushing the motor or what?? so say get on it hard to get the rings to seal etc. some say baby it for 500 miles

Drag cars get rebuilt in the pits and then hit the track right away. Of course its different for every day cars.

EVERY single car we build goes straight from the lift to the dyno.. If anything we put in the air and check for oil leaks til it gets full temperature.. then right onto the dyno..

btw.. Thats how we do it.. The only person you should listen to is your engine builder.. Its their name on the line if it fails.. If you dont trust their advice on how to break it in you shouldnt have them building it in the 1st place..

Mike
