true true true i still would love to know the proper process as far as i know jms builds them then they drive it around for a couple days and stated they like to change the oil 4 times checking for leaks etc before they release the car. I was just wondering the proper way to do it so your saying mike you build a 550whp car then put it straight on dyno tune it and the customer can then leave speeding down the street in boost and leave on a 550 mile trip and be ok??

Rock I agree with Mike. AMS, BR, ER, AWD, GST, and STM all do motor break in a bit different. I personally think that a car can go from the lift to the dyno like Mike stated. IMHO I think it helps the rings seat better. I never broke in my Hondas, however a 200-300hp car is a lot different than a 650+hp car...

My car will have a 100+ miles on it when we go to dyno it tomorrow. The only thing is we are not going to max the turbo out on a fresh motor. 550+hp on a brand new motor is plenty for the time being. I will have fun with it until I get about 1500 miles on it then we will re-visit the dyno and make the Black flow 70+lbs/min.

I don't want to rush things and I trust Aaron and his suggestions so that is what we will do.

The 10:1 feels amazing. It is hard to explain the way the car feels. Right now it is only 27hp more peak than my Red on the stock motor but it feels 10x faster!

If I have time towards the end of the month while I am at ER, I'll see if I can do a pump gas tune on 10:1 to see what it does. I would say 525hp would be about it. Based of John's 2.4Black, he did 525 on 9:1 but I have a few more mods which helps, however I'm also 10:1 which hurts, so I would bet the same as John's car.

fastest ralliart in the states? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

its running a stock intercooler, half the size of the X intercooler that cant cool a toaster.

That car is no where near the faster. Ams had 370 whp on an fp red, and some others are in the 310-320 range like myself.

good laugh though
