So anything sold on ebay is crap......I guess that goes for used parts too. Weapon R may not be as highty tighty as Volk, or Sard or Blitz but they have been around for a while and their products aren't cheap taiwanese made crap.

 

Ill have to send you some pics how they shine up rock. no need to replace them, some elbow grease and billet polish will work wonders. WeaponR works fine.. My buddy been using those 2 tanks for 4-6yrs now... How ****ing hard is it to make welds on something that holds coolant and power steering fluid? give me a break.. scrape the weaponR black label off the thing and call it the highest end one they make.. no one will beable to notice or give a ****..... and if they do **** em.

taiwanese is not crap lol.. some of the best turbos come out of that area. Dont confuse Taiwan with China!

 

ya or the Gruppe carbon fiber intake system that cost $600+ and gains -15whp yes i said NEGATIVE HP.

lol i would not have bought it for the evo if i felt it was crap. lol wait till carlos takes a full enginebay shot LOL as you stated tscomp damn things going to set it off and you have not even installed my mishimoto chrome radiator or my gt spec chrome strut bar. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT I SHOULD HAVE ONE OF THE CLEANEST ENGINE BAYS ON THIS FOURM AND IT PRODUCES POWER TO BOOT.

that i dont know. i just know that Mitsu, and tons of huge turbo companies are based out of taiwain and etc.. certain parts of china are horrible, and some arent.. but the horrible ones give it overall a bad name.

sorry but you failed badly if that was your goal here. LOL. You should have stuck with the stock manifold if you wanted a sleeper style turbo setup. Its pretty much impossible to tell someone its a stock turbo now when its wide open with that exhaust manifold. If anything your engine bay will scare them away. The FP black has about the same size compressor housing as a 6765 which is a monsterous ****ing turbo.. 70mm+

 

NOPE never had the stock manifold and its ugly. Never wanted it car never came with it. I did get one for free at one point but map preformace bought it and my evo8 turbo from me LOL. the exotic looks will lead others to think its a show engine bay. not a completly stocker enginebay. And no i dont want to put a cover over the ugly manifold i love the way mona works and i had it made for my black and i aim to keep it that way. long as i take home some trophies im cool with not racing anybody to be honest

 

it doesn't look ugly, but it doesnt look pretty either. it looks about neutral. but if thats what you're aiming for then you should have no problem so far from what ive seen. it should get some trophies. The color combo seems like its going to be unique, and thats what judges look for.

 

Yup being different is all i ask for i definately dont want to be the boring norm. and im not even done yet it will be complete after rims and repaint and cf VG

The dude with the built 2.3's price is ok but not the components I'd want. Spoke with Mike @AWD and he's quoted me some pretty good prices.

Going with my original plan to get a beater and save my pennies, buy parts along the way and drop it off next year.
