Cool Evo Build
Thanks for all the comments.
Thought you might like to see another photo of Project Nemo assembled.
She has been stripped sand blasted, painted and currently is having the wiring, plumbing etc installed.
Shake down is planned for end of March.

The exhaust setup looks pretty crazy but I'm sure as long as the air venting is properly placed you shouldn't have much for heat soak issues. Good luck guys, hope to see big things from you (results that is, the car itself is already an amazing machine).
Hi,
Thanks for the comment. We are hoping to post some track videos in the coming weeks and yes we are hoping for some really big results. Andrew our aero guru has given us some big hurdles to jump through in our testing.
everyone is commenting on the exhaust routing, guess because most people are used to it going straight down and then underneath the car.
Under WTAC rules you are not allowed to discharge the exhuast in front of the half way point of the front and rear wheels. so therefore you need to route it back past that mid point on either side.
With Project Nemo we have a flat bottom which is hard up against a custom front support frame not leaving us any room to run it under the 4g63. Normally the stock and some aftermarket front frames allow you to run it under them. Ours doesnt.
So we had to get it to the back. We didnt want to take it down the driver side (rh driver as Japan and Oz built) as all the main fluid lines are down that side, so we had to get it across the car and down the passenger side. thus it cam back around the front and then behind the strut tower then down the side.
the only negative on that is CG weight up higher. But as the car is an aero car. ie the downforce is larger than its weight. it doesnt cause any concerns in a CG enviroment.
So thats why it ended up there. I guess if we could have fitted a 3.5" exhaust through a 1/2" space under the front support we would have tried to do it.
Opps sorry also the exhaust is HPC coated and it is also fiberglass wrapped as well. So from a heat point of view its not a problem. We did some tests and the carbon front clips gets hotter from the the sun then it does from the exhaust.
