144mph's Evo 8 Build
thanks. Unfortunately, the original owner's setup is going to get left in the dust as this car is pretty much being turned back to stock with the exception of a battery relocation which will only remain because I can't find a stock tray and support.
I'll be selling the car in the near future and focussing my attention on putting the parts back on an 03 with 2K original miles.

Had some issues getting the car to run once it was all put back together. It would crank and had fuel pressure, but no magic in the cylinders. I had a feeling it was related to swapping back to the stock ECU from the AEM EMS and sure enough, the immobilizer was preventing the car from running. Once I swapped in the correct ECU it fired right up like a champ.
Right now the car is at the body shop so some minor scratches incurred from being in the previous owner's garage and chips to the front bumper fascia can be addressed. I did have the chance to get the car detailed before sending it over to him though and she sure cleans up purty.

I still need to swap over the stock wheels, put the mesh back in the front grill and move the battery back to the engine bay, but it's getting very very close to being done.
Once I get it back and am satisfied that it's in 100% shape, I'm going to focus on selling the car so I move on to phase 2, building the 2003 that I bought alongside this car!
Any ideas of what a good price would be? It's not easy to find a direct comparison with cars on EvoM because they're all quite modified or have significantly higher miles. Car has 25K on the clock and it's got a clean title, having been owned by two individuals prior to myself, but I've only had the car since March and put a few hundred miles on it.
