I'd love one of those subframes for an Evo 10! I'll take any weight saving parts really.

Why don't you take this out to Texas for the event coming up? Would be interesting to see what a 1000+hp Evo will do with the big boys.

We would make one if I could get 10 guys to say YES we want them, and put down a $500 deposit to prove it.

The shop Evo is going to Texas for the Supra/highway roll event next year in March. It will be beyond this one in every way.

Very nice build! Will this car have that billet bellhousing installed on it as well? Would be cool to see that thing put down some nice numbers on the dyno/track.

Yes it does have the billet housing. Due to the monster brakes we have to run 18 inch rims, but I'd like to see how it can do at full weight with 18 radials myself.

why not swap between stock brembo's or RS 2 spots for drag racing?

surely 1000hp will be a struggle to put down on 18's?

Yes, quite difficult, but that's the fun of it. Companies like AWDmotorsports and AMS have already set the bar high for full drag Evos. We wouldn't bother trying to run with those times in a full weight street car. You can't fight physics. I think most of our customers would rather see what the cars will do in true street trim.

I like train of thought. Maybe this will keep all the Evos from ending up being ragged out drag cars.
