Time for Another SEXY build thread

hey some of you may remember my old set up with the black and candy purple theme.. changed up a couple of more things since my last update in my last thread.. ill try to make this a strictly picture thread with little to no jibber jabber lol..

heres a QUICK RECAP if you didnt follow my older threads

heres how the car pretty much looked last year with the stock enkeis painted candy purple



later got some RGII 18x9 to change it up some


went back to some candy purple BBS


old stock motor setup on fp red


then i spun a rod bearing..




so it was time to build the block along with other goodies





painted the engine bay




converting to speed density


motor being assembled



omni 4 bar


AMS VSR to replace the buschur ported stocker


replaced tails


evo8 nose chop mod




tucked fuse box under driver headlight




new spoolin up COP(oh yea no more candy purple valve cover)



stripping valve cover to powder coat




shaved and preping






new 3.5 fmic came in



new SD intake


repleaced the stupid PTE 1600cc injectors with FIC 1350s

BUT.... then i spun another rod bearing on cylinder #3 from hydrolocking the cylinder with fuel when my injector harness melted and shorted out. which cause the injector to spray non stop






heres pics of the melted wire harness sad day (apparently the cam sensor ground wire got to close to my hard upper rad pipe and ended up touching and melting/burning all the wires in the harness all the way down to the injectors






luckily it didnt damage much so wasnt much replacing and machine work to do.. soo took advantage and bought MOAR parts

had time to powdercoat my intake mani



got a good deal on this catch can from a member



installed my oil pressure gauge- something that should have been done from the start (its clean tho)

traded blackhousing headlights for stockers.. but the look didnt last long due to ugliness and condensation


time to open em up and play (didnt like how it looked with amber overlay vinyl


buffing out the headlights

liked the background (buddy of mines doing a small shoot for me)

ordered some more parts


after seeing how much oil was in my catch can and how i tend to run low on oil at times decided to get the Kiggly HLA

haha yea i know but this isnt going to last.. thinking of getting the calipers and valve cover done in that goldish orange color that GTR brembos have... trying something different

Try to resize your pic before posting normaly 1024x768 will do it.

You must have tryid out all kind of IC's do you see differency in preshure drop and cooling effect?

is there a way i can resize it with just the [IMG] and change some numbers in the code?

Hey bro great build there. Your evo 8 is amazing.

Just FYI I have / had the same jack at home and a few months ago I had the O ring randomly fail and leaked fluid all over my driveway dropped my car pretty damn fast. Lucky I still had my rims on. I had the jack maybe not even 8 months of light usage? All in all, don't trust that jack like that without stands!!!
