Thank you sir!! Ive built this car over the past 5 years peice by peice. I Used the most cost effective parts, because I HAD TO. Most shop cars get unlimited budgets, and get built all at once.

Not this one, I built this car like most of you guys build your projects, a little bit at a time

Devin

Update!!

I've had to put the car to the side for the past week or so, we had some customers cars to finish and that will always take priority over my car.

The car is so close to being started I can barly stand it. Took a trip out to Byron Dragway on Saturday to get the car NHRA certified. It passed, no problem, and got certified to go 8.50's. After talking to the NHRA official, the next step would be to put in a 25.5 cage in the car. It would be adding another 20 or so bars to the cage, maybe next year
  • Assembled the trans and installed it in the car.
  • Modified the clutchfork to work with the 8 leg Quarter Master Clutch
  • Fabricated a 3" hot side intercooler pipe from the turbo to the intercooler (ran a 2.5" last year)
  • Modified a Koyo Evo half radiator to fit in the 2G platform. This included modifing the lower endtank to clear the crossmember, and fabricating custom lower radiator mounts.
  • Modified the upper intercooler pipe to work with the Magnus manifold.
  • Ran all the wiring through the entire car. I also went through every harness and eliminated any wiring that is not needed. (took 15-20 lbs of wiring out of the car)

Man that is one of the cleanest drag cars I've seen. Very nice build and very nice results. Nice job to the driver as well as the builders of the car!

Thanks Legen-dary!!
All of the building and assembly, custom fabraction work, tuning, and driving was all done by my husband Devin, the owner of Boostin Performance.

**UPDATE**

I got her running yesterday, it started without any issues and I could not be happier! We only have a couple more things to check off the list before we make our first pass. I'm looking forward to bringing her out to the track soon, and will keep everyone updated
  • Install new Frontline Fabrication rear diff cover (pics coming soon)
  • Install Lexan Front Windshield
  • Alignment and Corner Balance
  • Tune on the Mustang Dyno
I had to make a custom bracket with the correct offset for the GM alternator. I also ran some AN lines from the dipstick tube and balance shaft inspection hole to the catch cans. Here’s some more pictures and a start-up video.
Enjoy
