STM Ricer... 2012 Build
Well, this is year number eight of Ricer's legacy. This car has accomplished so many goals, and looked so damn good doing it! It's too difficult to make the call to strip, cut and gut and head to the next level of drag racing.
So, the keys to Ricer... are going in my pocket.
STM has the RS now as a drag car, and Ricer is headed back in the direction of daily, street, show car. Everyone loves a good, functional, street car build... and we are going to try and accomplish it in the next 2 weeks and I'm going to hopefully drive it to the shootout. It may not happen in time, but I'll try and keep updated with the progress. We are leaving NY Thursday the 16th, so we have 10 days.
The STM RS is ready, so don't worry, we wont disappoint!
A LOT of parts are on order, so you will get quite a few photos!!
Despite the 8 second quarter mile passes, Ricer always retained full glass, the SSL leather door panels and HID's. The body of this car was NEVER cut. The cage was welded in, however, so that was the first cut to get the bracing out. But no big deal.
So far, we've swapped a lot of parts from the RS into Ricer. The Sparco seats are SO comfortable, but I can't quite reach the clutch pedal properly, so the Evo IX interior went in. I really like the suede in the center. I do remember sliding around in the black Evo a lot because I often over-did the leather conditioner.
Anyhow, not much to look at right now, but I'll try and keep the list of mods coming!

Carbon roof is still looking good!

The interior has a long way to go, but I have a feeling it's going to be awesome.

It was technically "cut" partially to install that roof, but she is obviously referring to the fact we never cut the car up to "drag car status" like we will be doing with the RS........
