How far are you guying going with this project? Meaning you guys will only be putting aftermarket bolt ons parts or complete re-built of the engine and Drive train ?

 

We are going to attempt to break the stock turbo record in power and maybe drag strip but we will see. I'd like to do it on the stock engine and drivetrain as well .

 

More Updates! ETS Intake is installed! We are still waiting on the UICP and Test Pipe though. Huge increase in turbo spool and sound. The car just wants to stay in boost all the time now. Our butt dyno definitely thinks there's a lot more power coming out of the car. We are still on the stock Cobb Stage 1 tune as well. This is definitely a mod that needs to be done even on a nearly stock Evo X.

Just a quick exciting update:

ETS Test pipe will be getting installed today.

New parts have been ordered as well:

ETS FMIC 3.5 Black
ETS UICP Flat Black
ETS o2 Dump Downpipe

We're hoping for around 350-380 whp. I think it can be done on 93 octane with the mods we have. We will be positing pictures of all the parts when they get here so be sure to check back soon!

So it has been a while since we last updated this thread. We are going to be going to CBRD for tuning in about 3 weeks maybe a bit more. We always see the dyno charts and work done by CBRD and love it, so it's now our turn! We will be running 2 maps for now, 93 octane and winter blend Ethanol. 3rd map will be done in summer with some summer time ethanol!

DW65c Drop In Fuel Pump

We plan on pushing everything to the limit.
