Help on wiring a AIT Sensor

Question Help on wiring a AIT Sensor

Hey guys Im going to Speed Density here, just getting everything ready for my tuned coming up. I have a AEM AIT SENSOR and NOT to sure how to install right, dose anyone can send me some pictures how to wire it up. Im really looking for good instructions on this. Its for EVO IX

First of all, will you be using the stock ecu with sd conversion? If so, you can set your car to use the fuel temp sensor as an AIT, and you don't have to wire anything in or install the sensor in the intake manifold or intercooler piping. If you don't want to use the fuel temp sensor, here are your other two wiring options:

Now, this is for an evo 8, but I don't think there's any difference in MAF plugs. When looking at the MAF sensor plug (with the tab on top), pin 5 and 6 going from left to right are the wires you tap into. The color of one wire is black and the other is red/blue. It doesn't matter which one is positive or negative on the sensor, just wire it up using the two wires on the AIT sensor plug to pin 5 and 6 on the MAF sensor plug.

Your other option is to buy an SD harness from Spoolinup which will allow a plug and play installation. Spoolinup SD Harness
