Lancer MR (Mirage) To Evo 4 Project

This is my build on my Australian Lancer MR or Mirage chassis.
This ride was running on an automatic SOHC 4G93, got bored of it and dumped a 4G92 Mivec in it. And then I fitted my old 4G93 block onto it. And got bored again. So I decided to dump a 4G63, and call it an Evo coupe.

Had my 4G93 Mivec removed, and had my new Evo 4 front cut ready.

A teaser for myself lol

4G63 inside!

Evo radiator panel fitted along with intercooler

Had problems with the fender - doesn't fit at all. Stock Mirage fender is a perfect fit to the bumper but doesn't reach out to the side markers.

Custom fender fab work

Rear 5 lugs fitted. Running all 4 on Evo 4 OZ's.

And when she got some color :

That's it until now..

Looks pretty good. Any plans to do an AWD conversion or will it stay FWD?

For an everyday ride, I'd like to keep it FWD. Keeps the fuel consumption and weight down Plus I hate having to see her *** getting ripped for the axle, and our local law doesn't let us do major chassis fabrication..

I'm looking at running an evo 4 front bumper on my CL2A (4wd) mirage hatch.
Did it fit ok with the standard lights and indicators? Or could you make it work?

Keep up the build, I love it how Mitsi's are like lego and you just slap it together

the bumper will line up nicely to the fender arch but you'll have problems with the sidemarkers, like this

and the front bonnet doesn't line up well too. It's because sedans have a longer front
