2006 EVO MR in Calgary
The clutch is slipping terribly at all rpms and in all gears at random. Quite annoying to drive. So I ordered a new clutch and it showed up with broken clips from shipping on the pressure plate. Sent it back now waiting for a new one to show up. I cant wait for it to show up it has been not much fun driving it as it is.
Beautiful car man! What kind of process did you have to take bring it up here? How much notification/time in advance did you need to give the boarder if any? I'm over in sk and got the itch for an viii/ix! Congrats and hopefully the clutch is workin great!

I treated mine like a vacation to make it less stressful. It was great experience. I love my Evo
Previous owners name was Craig. Hope he doesnt mind me saying that, I assume not as it was in the ad he posted here if I recall. Came out of Alabama, then Texas before that. I found a big clump of texas clay in the subframe while doing clutch. I had a chuckle at that.
Regarding the Injen I/C piping is it just a fitment issue? I thought about what its intended purpose is and what my HP goals are for now ect and figured that it the upper and lower kit was a reasonable value. Not sure if I will run the intake. I am running stock intercooler and as far as I could tell it was made for that set up.
Breaking in the clutch today!
