Updating an old Evo Build.

I just finished a build for my buddy. To give you some history on this car it was fully built back in 2006. It made 670whp/520ft-lbs on c16 and ran a best of 10.21@143 on drag radials. The car was full weight and had a 9 second cage, parachute, etc. The motor was a Turbotrix short block with Headgames head, HKS 280's, AMS intake manifold, AMS FMIC, Shearer divided T4 manifold, GT4094, 1200cc injectors, AMS fuel system, AEM EMS, etc. He wanted to completely redo the setup, clean it up, and not only make it fast but make it look good at the same time. The motor is still the same as it was back in 2006, we even left the HKS 280's in there. Junior tuned it on a dynojet and on wastegate pressure it made 650whp, on 25psi it made 715whp/430ft-lbs. The car is getting vinyl wrapped this week and then we plan on putting here back on the dyno and turning it up to 40lbs to see how she does. Then its time to go to the track. Here is a list of the new stuff I made/installed:

-FF 6766 turbo kit .82ar v band exhaust housing, fits a 4" air filter and keeps A/C
-Re did the UICP and LICP
-Installed a Koyo Mini Rad with -16AN lines
-Magnus Intake
-Changes all IC connections to Wiggins style
-2000cc injectors
-Changed out both fuel pumps (Walbro 450 in tank, -044 Bosch under car)
-Changed all fuel lines to PTFE
-Braided all power steering lines
-Braided all A/C lines
-Installed a Accufab TB and remote mounted to stock Idle motor
-Changed all the vac lines to push lock hard lines
-Cleaned up harness and wrapped it
-Took out the AEM EMS and went back to stock ECU
-Mounted the battery behind the bumper on the driver side
-Built a catch can that is a coolant overflow and oil catch can in one
-Installed a lightweight drive shaft
-Just about everything was either powder coated, ceramic coated, or anodized

Finally got the car all sorted out and Junior finished the tune today. He made 918whp/551ft-lbs@46psi on VP C85. The car is a beast and its still making power when it hits the limiter at 9300rpm.

Sick build and great numbers. Any pics of the exterior? I know you listed parachute. Is this still street driven?

Car is street driven. Parachute is removable. I will get exterior pics up as soon as I can clean it up and take some photos. The car was just wrapped in Brushed Stainless. I wasn't crazy about the idea at first but I really liked it now.

Now that is bad ***, beautifully executed. It is refreshing to see something a little different to the cookie cutter stuff.

Very interesting how you moved everything around and used Braided hose everywhere. Lots of work and attention. Love it

Thanks. I needed to use it since we were going the stock ECU route. If we were running an AEM I could have used the Mustang Idle motor and it would have made life much easier.

Thanks. Making all those lines was exhausting. The PTFE lines are much harder to work with then the regular rubber stuff. The lines are awesome and can be used for fuel, A/C, power steering, etc. Its nice since you can have matching fitting for everything. I hate when one braided line doesn't match the rest of the lines in the engine bay.
