Yes, when we pulled the motor from the Black car I decided to send it to Buschur. David talked me into a 2.3L. I wanted the ultimate street machine so it was a logical choice. Stay tuned for a full write-up on this project. I will be posting it in the "All Mitsubishi Model Build Threads ". Here is another teaser pictures since everyone keeps asking for them

 

Update: Car is up and running. Putting 500 miles on the break-in oil. Sorry for the delay, but I had to deal with CA smog. Yes, it passed

 

Looks great. Love a clean white evo. I could never deal with the OCD kicking in and keeping it spotless.

 

Update: The car has been up and running (engine break-in) and has recently been street tuned. All I can say is "holy crap", this thing is wicked fast! There still needs some slight tweaking to the tune to get it perfect. I will have a complete write up with tuning results posted soon.

 

Congrats on the new power. Do you have a higher resolution of the picture above at that angle?

Update: Project MJ is approximately 90% complete. I apologize for the long delay but there were a few more gremlins I had to chase plus I added a few new upgrades to the build. This build has tested my patience thats for sure. Full write-up and a potential video will be posted in the very near future
