The 7275 is only rated for 1015hp as opposed to the super99 and 1000. Car looks great should get down to 8.5s with a solid pass for sure. What is your fuel setup?

Thanks Bud! I am very happy with how consistent the car is. At least I can go out and say it is a true 8 second EVO every time

I honestly do want to compete in more events next season. But a lot of event are far away. I would like to do a few next year besides the Shootout.

I thought the 7275 was rated for more? Or maybe its the 7675 that's rated for a lot more I don't remember. I agree I think the car can get down to 8.6 or quicker maybe even the 8.5. But this late in the year with the weather I think the season is over for us up here.

My fuel setup is a 5 gallon fuel cell, AeroMotive Pro Series Fuel pump, ID 2000cc injectors.

7675 is another level - no doubt more power, but quite a bit more lag too I'd imagine... and you'd have to push the little 2litre pretty damn hard to justify the extra flow!

The 7675 is definitely on another level, probably too much. When the time comes when I do make a switch, I will take a look at some options. A little late in lag wont hurt, but it all depends on how much though. Will see what happens in the future!

Seems like you are making plenty of power. At this point weight is the most significant factor and that's were you should focus your efforts. Leave your power setup alone for a while.

I agree and I don't think power is an issue here. I haven't even maxed the Super 99 out yet at the dyno and even at the track. It's more about getting the car to hook and drop the car in weight. I wish I had this turbo a couple months ago so I have more time at the track and the track conditions were better but oh well. That's what I am going to work on this off season. I have some changes in mind which I will start in January. I will be gone for 3 weeks in December for vacation so once I get back, I will be ready to work on the car again!

The super94 spools 300-400rpm later than the 6466, I presume the 99 is another 100-200rpm from the 94 (400-600rpm slower)...how does this feel on the track? Non existent? OR noticeable but worth it for a drag car?

There is a little lag from what we saw on the dyno of course, but at the track it's not noticeable at all. Car feels real strong with this turbo. Just need more time with it at the track. I wish I could've done this setup earlier in the year but I had to wait a little bit. If I don't make it back out this year, which it doesn't look good with the weather, I plan to be out right away in the Spring!

Hey Joey -

If you do go T4 do some research on yellow bullet on what the X275 class guys are doing. I would steer clear of Precision and look at some of the newer billet wheel BW units. They have some 3,000 lb cars running 4.9 @ 141 in the 1/8 on billet wheel T4 76MM turbos. Single not twins. 1/4 that becomes 7.x's @ 180++ through an auto trans.

If you are all about the peak power curve then to me you can't beat a BW unit.

Here is a good read on a cast 76mm version.

That is a T6 on an engine 3x bigger than a 4G63, not quite the same cup of tea. One of the Supra guys just moved from a T4 Billet 67mm Borg Warner to a T3 Super 99HTZ and picked up power EVERYWHERE, as in... while the T4 BW was still at 300whp the 99HTZ was >800whp! I am figuring Joey won't be needing to look in that direction.

The normal 76mm BW turbos flow under 105lb/min which is similar to the 99HTZ, and I've never even seen a FMW 76mm BW - I thought they do 67, 72, 80 etc?

Ah ok, wasn't counting them - last I read on them was their upgraded billet Batmo wheels which reduce the high pressure ratio flow from the cast BW equivalents by like 10%
