I'm in the process of purchasing a set of coilover for my Evo. How do you like your Auto Fortune Coilover?

Dude!!!! I am drooling..I am very impressed on how well you built your car, I hate you too!!! hahaha.

On a serious note, how in the hell did you afford to pay for all of that? did you sell both kidneys, your heart and your ***** and your left eye in a contract?. that is a expensive built and I can tell that you spare nothing, you didn't do any shorcuts.

Enjoy your car and THANKS for sharing, your car is truly bad a-$$!!!!

Carlos

Haha. I honestly don't make that much at my day job. Always doing side work on cars or buying and selling parts.

Appreciate the good words man. Definitely not any shortcuts but didn't buy the most expensive stuff either. This setup is awesome and treats me well. I am dying to get on the rollers in the next month and see what this thing can do!

Ordering S2 cams Friday and the motor will be ready to go back together.

Well my parts from mitsu came in wrong preventing me from putting on the head.
STM sent me diaqueen LSD fluid instead of the transmission fluid >_< no worries they are only double the price difference.

Ordered my S2 cams along with a shirt for my son
Ordered a new fuel rail, I decided I'm gonna bump up the fuel system.
Going with the mini fuel lab kit fpr from MAP and a walbro 416lph E-85 version.

Edit: crap I almost forgot I have to order my Kiggly HLA this week too.

Tried to get a little done while I can't put the head on. Some of it had to be done anyway.

Got the bell housing all cleaned and TOB and clutch fork put back together.

Cleaned up the pistons. Had so much carbon build up from the previous owner running pump gas. Took forever to clean.

Got new injector seals. I had one go bad right before I took the motor out. That's also another reason I stopped driving the car but a turbo with no tune also.

How do your competitors feel about the AWD 2 piece drive shaft and you running in SCCA SM?

Driveline is open but the carrier bearing housing must be removed for clearance for the new drive shaft. The carrier bearing housing is 2-3lbs putting it over the limit of 1 lb allowed to accomodate allowed modifications.

Yeah I'm running SM. I haven't ran SM with the driveshaft yet. this year I'll be on street tires because I plan on doing more track days. So if I'm running street tires I doubt anyone is going to be worried. Not running nationals or anything. It's pretty laid back around here, I'm not trying to bend rules either but the driveshaft isn't helping me that much.
