A few more updates!

Went to mid Ohio Monday and used basically what was left of the RS3's.

It was the best time of my life! My first track day ever. Hitting 155 on the back stretch. Could've hit 165 if I wasn't braking early. It's a little scary slowing down from that speed lol.

Running in novice class I was only using 4 gallons of fuel a session.
And the last session they let me run intermediate and I used almost 8 gallons of fuel in one session! I also went into the grass sideways in the chicane going about 80 or 90 mph.

My only real go pro footage is in the novice group that I'll have to grab off the camera. I didn't get my rally adventure on footage =[

Also....!

Finally some fresh tires! Direzza ZII's 255's went on the rpf1's.

Along with a free keychain from FP!

The first time out since mid Ohio....

Lucky I didn't pop a motor. Car went lean and what do ya know!
Whew!

All in all I've had so much fun with the car lately.

Also my Borla manifold is cracked and now definitely due for replacement. I'll probably order an ETS tubular next Friday.

And my tranny synchros for 3rd and 4th might be going out. They shift fine at 3k Rpm's and up but not under. It's very strange...

And yes this car is high flocking maintenance

Well a little update.

Car finally hit 80k miles. Lots of fun and plenty more to go!

Borla contacted me saying they are sending me a new manifold in the next week that I'm going to just sell for a cheap price to someone looking for one.

I picked up my JMfab manifold though. The weld quality is good and the port work is amazing.

The tab on my fender broke off that keeps my bumper on. Damn aluminum fenders. =\
Gonna look into a quick release kit that is a clean install toxic fab has one but its $200! >_<
I would make my own brackets if anyone has an idea where to get the quick release buttons toxic fab sells?!

several things.
1: your car is amazing and inspirational.
2: i recently had the same bumper problem and used a diffrent quick release but for the same purpose check out my build thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/al...ld-thread.html

3: this is what you seek, just get some steel and cut a templet. for the braket
http://www.quik-latch.com/

hope this helps

Well it's been an annoying experience to get a broken bolt out of the turbo.
Used some machine that uses a tungsten rod and burned it mostly out saving a little metal to chip away to save the threads. Still ended up losing an heli coiling the turbo. My first heli coil ever. On a almost new turbo. Fml =\

Said machine...

New manifold on! It's already changed colors a lot since picture. Hot manifold is hot.

Next day went to an autocross. Took home 1st in pax and 2nd in raw time.

Glad it's inspirational! I plan on keeping this car forever.
I should hopefully get the quik latch done this month. Lots of bills to pay and such =\
