Well I haven't been here in awhile and figured I would update this.
I finished the swap with the "Built" 5 speed trans in april due to waiting decades to get the transmission. I am now at the point of tearing the transmission down again. Not sure if its a 3rd gear clip thingy (I have no clue about transmissions) but I basically trashed the 3rd gear synchro after 1500 miles!!!
Pretty depressing as my 6 speed stood up to way more abuse than this!
I also snagged up a JDM rear bumper and painted it myself. I actually started doing automotive painting for a small income too.
I got the exhaust chopped and modified by Driven Fabrication! Came out perfect.
Picked up some sponsors Race4Time and aMAZEingPowderCoating!
It was a great half season of racing but very sad it ended so soon. I will be having TRE build the transmission this time and might as well take the Tcase this time also haha. Then I will have everything "built"
I also managed to get a lift for my shop. I love it, best thing ever! and it was FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEE!
I will just start with pictures from this point, the best part

and now with the transmission broken again, this is where i stand. completely empty evo. not moving... oh and if you couldn't guess which you probably wouldn't have. I burned up my walbro400 (pump gas running on ethanol) it made it 4k miles. I now have the wally400 e85 version. and bought the fuel lab inline filter, but couldn't think of anyway to mount it on factory lines. so going AN lines is on my list now that I have a lift.
