AWD Colt build
AWD Colt build
I have been building this car for a few years and it has been though a ton of changes. I figured I would post up some cliff notes of the old build and get to the new stuff.
It started out as a stock rusty 1.5 car.

Shortly after that I swapped in a 4g63t, gutted the car, put a big16g, DSMlnk V2 and a few bolt ons. With that setup I got a best time of a 12.3 @ 119.

The next big project was getting the car painted. I ended going with Hot Hues Hot Rod black paint.

I ended up bending some valves shortly after getting the car painted and decided it was a good time to AWD swap it. Along with the Awd swap I installed a 50 trim turbo, all new fuel system, and a bunch of stuff I'm forgetting.

So far with the awd build by best time is an 11.9 @120 with a slipping clutch. And here are some current pictures of the car.

Now the current build. So far I have just been gathering parts and installing them when I can. I have picked up a used set of M&H slicks, ID 2000's injectors, GSC 2 cams, aem cam gears, Kiggly valve springs, and a few Magnus parts. I also ended up taking out the entire chassis harness and taking out everything I don't need and redoing the headlight harness tuck.

The harness almost ready to go back in.

Also got a new plate for the car.

Thanks everyone! I have parts coming in as fast as I can pay for them, lol. So I should have some frequent updates.
I don't think I will ever get rid of this car.
