So last year I had a few issues with the car and ended up needing a rebuild on the engine. So i took the time to do the tranny and clutch also. Then decided to do a new AC unit and oil cooler. Well I figured a new intercooler and piping was needed also. Long story short I now have a new car from the firewall forward. I recently sold the FP Black setup and Now getting a full custom kit built by PSI of Tucson and going with either a HTA 3586 or a PTE 6266 billet BB.

LOL itsa actually all being repainted in Black. I just done my wheels in plastidip black and my brake calipurs in laguna blue to match the car.

What kind of power did it put to the ground?

 

We put it on the dyno with the FP Black and didnt have any luck with it. Dyno was set to 6000lbs and car wouldnt complete pull for some reason. It was reading like 260-300whp on 30psi LOL we thought the clutch was slippind and pulled it off of the dyno. I took it down the street and launched it @20psiand the clutch grabbed nicely so not sure what the deal was on the dyno. We are gonna take it back after the new T3 kit gets done. Im hoping for 650-700whp@35psi.

Thanks, we made a joke that I had the only 10sec 300whp power car. We guess the car was making close to 550whp we think their were dyno issues that day. Ive been 11.2s in that car and it felt like a mid 10s car coming off of the dyno.

 

That's interesting... 10sec 300whp car, you'll hit 8s no problem lol

Not yet but I will run it thru VD after tuning is done. I really care about is my track times honestly.

 

What happened to the valve cover?

 

Nice build, but I have to say it........whoever painted the car needs shot!! What a terrible looking masking job.

 

Thanks, its a track car so not much prep work went into the paint job. The only reasson I painted is because the black color was all chipped from highway driving. I paid $500 for the current paint job and most of it went towards the Leguna Blue paint from BMW.
