good selection of parts. god polished exhaust manifolds remind me of ebay too much

 

that's the MAP short runner manifold. it's no cheapo that's gonna crack after one pull.

I got my FIC 850cc Injectors in.

 

I was having a hard time getting the cv axles out but i was able to get the drivers side out and it's stuck on the output shaft. lol. I got the driver side axle out and then used a slide hammer to get that output shaft out.

 

I need to do some preservation and painting on these. I'm planning on selling the Tien Springs and going back to stock springs because I hate having a low clearance.

 

I dropped the crossmember and got the transmission clear of attachments with the exception of the transfer case bolts which i'll have to wait to get to after I remove the intake manifold tomorrow.

 

I'm extremely thankful my father in law lives nearby and is head mechanic at a nearby dealership so he's supported some tools like the cherry picker.

 

But he bought me this for an early Father's day gift. Love that guy. lol

 

well i finally got a chance to get back in my garage and work on pulling the guts of the car.

 

I got the head pulled...

Here's the not so stock pistons that i didn't know i had. Did some research and found these were Wiseco 1400 HD 8.5 CPR pistons.

 

The intake manifold was removed so i could access the T-case bolts easier and got it separated from the Tranny.

 

Let her hangle dangle.

 

I'm gonna detail the crap out of this empty space while everything is out.



So glad i can move on with this. It's a daunting task, but I'm looking forward to my finished product.
