i prefer on the column more i had mine down in the ash tray at one point and hated it cause it was out of my line of sight

 

Yeah, the ash tray is a bit out of the way lol. I like the setup I have in my sti, but couldn't find anything like it for the evo. It replaces the trim around the gauge cluster and has one hole on each side. Almost looks factory with the defi gauges in there.

I saw a right up where put a gauge where it says Lancer on the cluster
