Well I definitely like the choice of wheels the second time around vs the 1st set.

Would you say you felt a true difference from the ARC airbox mod?

Thanks, I really liked them both but the ZE40s are just stunning in Bronze, not to mention the benefits of their construction and design.

All I can tell you about the ARC box is that it looks amazing and that it seems to be on par with other intakes. The quality is great, especially considering the velocity stack on the inside. This box will definitely be an upgrade over stock but I doubt there is much, or any, superiority to this intake over the other products you can buy.

If you're referring to the underside of the vc, then no. My powdercoater returned everything completely clean.

Also, I see your 8 occasionally driving through the city, it looks so good with those Mag Blue TEs man....I'm not usually one for big meets or anything but if you ever want to meet up sometime shoot me a PM, it's always good to know another CT9A Evo around here
Thanks for the info! I just got my Evo back from the bodyshop so I'll def try to schedule something with Doug next. Appreciate that! You don't see many 8/9s around here, or at least I don't. I'll PM you when I'm back in town, we should set something up for sure.

So...does anyone know if this site doesn't allow you to edit posts after a year or something? I can't edit my first post anymore and I'm not sure why. Anyway, I got a great deal and picked this up yesterday to replace my passenger Zeta Sport:

And my new stock-replacement manifold should be here in a month or so:

Also bonus picture of when the wheels were mounted and the car was aligned. Plus the plane car

What tire size? 255 or 265? Looks great, well done

It's a 255/35, but the AD08Rs run so wide that it measures out to essentially a 265.

And I figured out of anyone, you would know what the manifold it I've had it on order since the early summer and I'm really excited to get it, their work is just fantastic.

Did you have the fenders rolled or deal with rubbing on the AD08's because of the width difference. The 35 series seems so small that you wouldn't think so.

The fronts are massaged a little, and the rear fenders are rolled as heavily as possible without causing the fender to flare or budge. In addition to that, I'm going to raise the car to keep it from rubbing under hard driving. There is a decent amount of work to be done to fit these wheels properly.

I do agree about no letting the fenders flare on the bottom with the "stance" side of these builds. In my opinion, since the Evo's have a natural bulge to the fenders it would take patience and skill to get the combined look of wide wheels that sit perfectly flush without modifying natural fenders.

How much space do you have between your wheels and suspension?

Yep, I agree completely. With this car I don't want any aftermarket panels AND I don't want to butcher the OEM stuff. The car looks really good but is a little lower than I like anyway right now because I didn't change the ride height from when I had my 17s on.

I'm not sure exactly how much space there is but it's ample, the relatively low (+22) offset of the ZE40s push the wheels away from the suspension components pretty well. This is definitely the "limit" for a functional stock body car from a wheel size standpoint imo.

Also: The front wheels need a 5mm spacer to clear stock brakes.

So these are a square 22mm set I assume then?

Nevermind, just read a few posts up if you were talking about the bronze set, then question answered...lol.
