If you will use 255/40 will face any problem?

If I will cleer the hight between the tayer & fenders with 1.5" would I face the same problem of the rubbing Tyers?

What is you chamber specs?

And just to confirm you didn't use any spacers in the front or rear right?

In your opinion What would be the best spec without rolling the fenders?
1. With a 255/40 the sidewall will be taller and you will need to raise the car more or make more concessions for proper fitment with no rubbing.

2. I am not quite sure what you're asking here

3. -3.3* Front -2.5* Rear

4. These wheels require spacers on the front to clear stock brakes

5. I think something around an 18x9 +28 will work well without rolling any fenders, but I'm not positive.

Interesting that you need a spacer. Ive had RE30, TE37SL and now CE28RT in identical size and offset (9.5 +22) and they clear brakes by a fair margin (I have Alcon BBK too - fatter than the OEM Brembo)

Understand this is due to spoke design but you would think Rays would try and make them Brembo friendly. Looks very sharp regardless, gorgeous wheel

It's because the stock 8/9 rotors are too small - the wheels fit Evo X front brakes (and likely your Alcons) with no spacer

Spec without rolling fender would be 17x8.5+30 or 18x8.5+30
Tyre size would be 235/45/17 or 245/45/17 for 17" and 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 for 18"
I believe the most aggressive spec you can fit with no fender rolling is 17x9+35 or 18x9+35
Tyre size would be 255/40/17 or 255/35/18

Haven't updated this in a while...but not much has changed. The car is almost back together and ready for a re-tune though, just waiting on a few more key parts to come in/be fabbed.

Engine bay looks great now. Nice Work! Lovin' those ZE40 too and all the details you shared about how you made them fit. Thank you! The JDM rear e9 bar will improve the rear so much, so I'm keen to see some new photos when its done. I couldn't find any specs on the old Advan wheels & tyres you used to have. Could you let me know please.

Thanks, I'll post some more pics when the car is fully back together. Tune is scheduled for Mid-August so should be around then. I agree, The JDM 9 rear will complete the look of the car for me! It's painted and waiting to go on

The Advan RS I had were 17x9 +22

Snapped a pic of the finished engine bay the other day. Super happy with how everything came out. Now all we need to do is put the JDM rear bumper on. To say im happy with how the Evo has progressed is an understatement

Hey man, been following your posts for quite some time, gotta say awesome ride and awesome parts.

Hope you dont mind me using some of your posts as inspiration for what I'd like to do to my car as well! Did you post more info about the EFR's you got in a separate post? I'm okay with cars but still quite noob-ish when it comes to changing out turbos. Tryna get all the info/issues before I decide which turbo + manifold

Keep up the work! and give us more to see

Thanks for the kind words, the turbo I chose was the EFR 7163 with the internal wastegate, twinscroll hotside. I am very happy with the Full-Race manifold as well - it it well constructed and allows the use of a full 3" mandrel bend at the downpipe while keeping a/c.

Yes, at this point it is a one-off. But if there are interested parties, they would be willing to make another set of piping
