awhit17's DBW Tuned, Pump 93, 400whp, stock block, 71HTA IX MR

Just got finished being tuned by Doug @ DBW Motorsports on his Mustang Dyno. The car is a riot to drive on the street and is really smooth! Important mods as follows:

- Stock Mivec Block
- FP 71HTA + 84mm Surge Cover
- Turbosmart 18psi Wga
- Tomei 270 Poncam Type R
- Bosch Motorsport 1050cc Injectors
- Walbro 255
- Mac 3 Port Ebcs
- Tuned with MAF/Load Based
- Tial QRJ
- ARC Intake Box
- Origin Fabrication Intake Pipe
- Origin Fabrication UICP
- ETS LICP
- ETS 3.5" Intercooler
- Origin Fabrication 3" Recirculated O2 Eliminator DP
- Tomei Titanium Exhaust w/ 3" V-Band Conversion

The car spikes at 24 psi and holds 23 out the top with 11 degrees of timing. All runs were completed in 3rd gear.

Yeah Doug, the Tuner, was really impressed with the turbo. It feels like a stock turbo that never stops pulling. So awesome and exactly what I wanted. The uncorrected was 38x or so I think...it was like 88 degrees and 100% humidity today

Definitely impressive numbers. Only about 50hp/50tq (give or take some) shy of my Red. And you're not even pushing the turbo, or on E85. Hell, just a switch to E85, would probably net a 10% power increase with only fueling adjustments.

Yeah it's a quick little bastard. I think your setup made me decide to get the 84mm cover. Your setup with the cover hits quicker than mine with the standard cover cause we had to tune around it

I would highly suggest it. The turbo sounds cool and I've been trying to get it to surge and I just can't with what I'm working with

Just to add, Doug told me that on this tune there is 11 degrees of timing at the top end. I'm not completely familiar with these motors yet but hopefully that adds more info for those interested!
