My EVO IV Resurrection!
My EVO IV Resurrection!
Back story: I completed the suspension upgrades on the car, and made it 6 miles before a deer jumped into the front end. It took some time to source the parts for a descent price; I was also saving up to go with a new paint color.

IT does not look bad here, but the hood, fender, headlight, bumper, lip, fog all needed replaced/ most could have been fixed but it was easier to order as a clip.

This is the clip I went with, found it on ebay, and shipped to my door for $1,400. I would highly recommend this company if anyone is searching for a quarter cut, or any type of clip. The clip arrived with every single piece on the car, they cut it just behind the frame rail so everything shipped intact.
Ebay link/ clip purchased
JDM Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 4 Front End Conversion Hood Headlights Bumper 1996 98 | eBay[/url]
Here is how it arrived , it came in a very well made, custom built wood crate; the packing job was top notch, and it arrived in 5 days from time of purchase.

Once the front end was replaced, I borrowed my wife’s MR wheels and snow tires as a template for some seriouse fender work. My trusted body work guy took a good amount of time pulling and rolling the fenders to make these work. I will not be running these wheels, but needed this amount of clearance so my custom (not purchased yet) wheels 17x8.5 with a 255/40 will fit correctly.

You can see the amount of material rolled up in this picture

Also the garbage paint job cracked with the slightest amount of work, it’s a good thing I just decided to bite the bullet and go for a full body refresh.

My choice for color – company :BSF paint code: R-M Nimbus Clear coat will be PPG 2021

I will be sure to update the post as pictures come in from the body shop!
Next stop for the car will be Boostin performance for a full drivetrain refresh.
