An alcon kit for street use.
Coilovers will be a set of ohlins with external reservoirs I will mount to the front and rear strut bar that I purchased from a family member in the UK.

My SM double pumper arrived!
Really excited to try this and excellent quality! Thanks Strictly Modified.

Also
I have decided to sell my machined 2.3 Shortblock to a friend in Seattle because his failed. I'll be receiving his block as a core with additional proceeds.
Fortunately I had not purchased a rotating assembly ( I was trying to focus on one thing at a time) so this can be fixed easily.
I've decided to go a different rout than a 2.3 and I'm going to reach out to English Racing and see what they would recommend for a high rev (10.5k -11k street car) low displacement engine assembly to compliment my 6766 and get me into low 9s.
I plan in stopping by ER Monday to grab the Kiggly HLA from them before I install my new cams so if they are not to busy I hope I can get some answers and update.

Also I'm aware this isn't the most exciting build ever, The pics are crap and it's been done a million time. So thanks to all that contributed. I will try and have some new exiting stuff coming asap. I also ordered a 1080p Nikon since my 720p Fugifilm will not turn on anymore so I will post sine better pics.

Tomorrow's agenda
Installing Kelford 290/ 287 cams
I have Kiggly support mods to run these
Kiggly HLA installation
Valve cover painting
And SM Double Pump setup install

Arriving this week in mail

Extreme psi OFH feed kit
RTM Fuel line Kit -8an Feed -6an Return... both rail to tank
Custom semi flapper for hood dump tube

Happening this month

PAINT!!!!!!! Matt Black with blue mirror flake!
Alcon F/R tarmac brakes!
ER E85 SD TUNE (If I can get an appointment for end of June)

More to come
The Silver Sleeper will be changing

Update
Went to finish up cam install but noticed something...
There was what I thought looked like a slight bit of slack in the timing belt.
So I went to pull on the belt....and it was tight....but barely...I could almost pull it off the cam gears
Bear in mind this is with no work being done on the tension assembly yet
So next I go to see if the tensioner is loading at all
Went to bench load it....and noticed my belt was in the same spot when I took the tensioner off
So on to the idle pully
Which was ramped down with torque
And used to hold the tension
When I pulled the pully off the belt went slack.
I inspected the idler and it was blued
And it spun about 1/16th of a turn ...not freely
I couldn't believe the job someone did to that timing belt
That is unsafe and unacceptable
Im so fortunate I only drove this car for a few days prior to build

Anyway needless to say now I need a timing belt kit.. so im having one overnighted to stay on schedule

So until next time friends
More delays! Coming soon

Damn, so were there any weird noises coming from that pulley?
I am having a random grinding noise from the passenger side and checked almost everything. I am beginning to think its a pulley in the timing belt area.

What's surprising is it sounded just like normal. But it's a good idea to check if there is any slack on your belt and look for any obstruction
Also if you pull off the access panel
check if your tensioner Is loaded at all

UPDATE!!!
Fuel lines have arrived

The RTM kit is awesome and comes with everything you need
Here are some pics of the hose abd fittings
-8an Feed -6an return

However since I went for the double pump post ordering the fuel system an additional -8an to 1/2 barb adapter was necessary which Amazon is one day shipping to me.

Timing belt kit, barb adapter, and OFH feed kit arrives Friday

If all goes well should be running by Sunday!

Tomorrow I pick up my new short block and proceeds.
After taking with Lucas English at the ER headquarters I've decided to switch my PTE order to a 6466 BB
and go with a clever 2.0 setup
I will be stopping by ER next week to purchase my rotating assembly.

Also my new camera is arriving Monday so soon no more looking at ridiculously blurry cell pics

Thanks

Update
Short block received
Sorry for no pics but my machine shop said I could bring it in the day I picked it up and I couldn't pass that up considering how far behind I am.
I will be at ER Tuesday to buy the new rotating assembly

Also I finally got tracking numbers for
The Alcon brake kit, QM 8, and AMS cylinder head so im hoping they arrive soon. Now all I need is my 6466 to ship.

Now I shall enjoy my last cup of coffee and get some work on the Evo done.
