So yesterday had some time to sort some of the things out since the engine is out. I have started to install everything around that is not engine related directly. Started to do the custom AFR gauge inside the watch and installing the methanol kit in the trunk. Still needs to be wired, install the main controller. Thinking of installing it in the glove box with a nice tuck. I have never used meth injection so do not know how often you need to readjust knobs but guess I will figure that out on the process.

The kit is preinstalled in the rear trunk, need to do some bases for the tank. Wanted some machine billet spacers to add maybe 1/4 of an inch in the air between the tank and floor. If you know where I could get those let me know!!!

Pump has been installed inside the rear tire. I guessed that since we are doing a nice tuck it might as well go there, and since AEM wants it under the main line, well thats a win win. Need to make also some bases, thinking some wood to space up the tire after cleaning and before tightening so it does not move around.

Thanks to Fernando @rpsolution for all the guidance in the selection of many parts for me vehicle. If you need assistance donīt hesitate to give him a call and make sure to follow him in instagram @rpsolution.

Thanks to @dreamcarworkshop for all the continuos support in the build.

Yeah, Gary from RaceLab does some crazy builds. He has an Evo which Matt Farah came down to film think its a Buschur Engine.

We are trying to do everything inhouse from building to honing, no engine swaps here haha. Fingers crossed, we are hoping everything comes together soon.

Just a couple of things. First, I want to say good luck on the build.

Secondly, if you are only shooting for 600hp, your turbo is way overkill in my opinion. You can make well over 600hp on many smaller turbos that are way more fun on the street/track. Another thing is that the AMS F1 intake manifold is another serious overkill as well. A stock ported intake manifold is plenty enough to do the job at 600hp and also much better drivability. The S3 cams are also overkill for only 600hp. S2 is plenty big for that power level. You didn't mention a fuel pump setup or which type of fuel you would be using, but I just wanted to point out some things that are overkill for your setup and horsepower goals.

Thanks! Actually my builder is shooting for more (700-850) whp but thats what I think stage 1 for me, will hopefully throw around on pump gas + meth injection. We will see the real glory of our build once we go with a fully built cnc ported head and the s3's. I haven't really thought on the gas setup beyond a fpr, fuel lines upgrade, fuel rail and a 450 in-tank walbro setup. We are still on the starting phase of the build, everything purchased just waiting to start honing, building and assembling. Maybe a double pumper once we get the head.

Any recommendations on the fuel setup, i am open to suggestions.

Stock bolts were a PITA to release flywheel. Finally I got some ARPīs to replace them, should be polishing and balancing the crankshaft this week together with some block honing.

So engine was taken out a week or so ago. Did not had time to post anything so adding on old material. Head was disassembled like 2 months ago when the valve cover was taken off. It took me almost 2 - 3 months to only figure out what we kind of wanted with the build. Goals is hitting the 800whp with high comp and the 6466 with built internals and head. It will not be a drag car but a high hp toy for whenever I feel like ****ting myself hahaha.

Engine out

Engine bay cleaned up
