I spent the rest of the day cleaning some stuff before I put it on such as the front cover, water pump, oil pickup, oil pan. No pics sadly but more to come!
Very cool stuff going on here! I can't wait to get my shortblock back. That picture of your buddy leaning over the Subaru looking disappointed cracked me up! Also the guys at Buschur racing have a great sense of humor, looking forward to seeing your final numbers.
Terrible photo but the evo is officially in storage for the winter. Turbo is off to Precision to be upgraded to a 6266 with a vband inlet and outlet... Additionally a sheepey bottom-mount hotside turbo kit has been ordered.. Now we wait for warm weather.
Such a happy build, I love it. Any plans for the drive line as of yet, or just going to get it running and deal with that later on?
Nothing but happiness here! Even with the tears and empty wallet!
Well previous owner and paperwork claims it is a built tcase and built transmission, and as I stated before it made 701 whp and 5xx wtq so if it can handle that it can absolutely handle the numbers I'm shooting for!

Its Evo math!
(Evo + empty wallet) x (tears / blood) - sweat = endless happiness!
Then you should be all good. One less thing to fix/build to get her back on the roads.
Will be keeping tabs on the thread to see your progress
