Welp this past weekend was attempt at first start up. Had a few issues resolved them but now sadly won't crank over. Confirmed I have spark and fuel. Assuming I messed up timing it. Gaahh gonna pull it off and try again. Setting timing in the car sucks with these things.

Issue resolved! Cams weren't set tdc on the compression stroke. Got it to fire up last night. It was 9:30 at night, has no exhaust, and no radiator in it so I didn't let it idle but sounded healthy for like one minute and a few revs.

2 days later I put on timing cover and accessory bits. Hooked up a 12v battery out of my BMW as it just skipped timing the other day and is useless... Suddenly ever light on the dash illuminated, day time running lights were bright as high beams and my fuel pumps sounded like jet turbines... Instantly disconnected and hooked up another battery. Suddenly no spark or or injector pulse. Checked all fuses and they are good. Immobilizer is disabled in my rom. And I can't imagine my sensor would just go bad overnight... Any ideas? Someone is sending me a spare ecu to test with this week... Hitting my breaking point and just wanna enjoy this car #2018herewecome

Issue ended up being my spark tech ignition system. Threw in OEM coils and it fired up. Got my base map today. Going to start it up after work. Wooot!

Injectors ended up being clogged. Borrowed a friends smaller set to get it started and idling. Runs like a champ. Sadly the turbo ended up seizing, unsure of why. Had to send it back to precision to get repaired and injectors are out being cleaned. Once I get both of those back and reinstall them the only thing that's left before the dyno is having a vband welded onto my mid pipe so it'll bolt to my downpipe.

Well it's been awhile... So got the injectors cleaned and brought the car to Raif at RRT in CT!

Much to my frustration one of the injectors was damaged and got stuck open on the dyno. Didn't feel like dropping a grand on equally big injectors so sized down to 1200cc precision injectors for now!

Car had a few other bugs but Raif got them all sorted out!!!

Ended up making 485whp and 392wtq and maxed out the injectors sadly.

As disappointed I am in the car's limits with the injectors Raif was nothing but helpful and kept me up to date the entire time with everything going on with my car! I'd like to say he would be the only one looking at the evo going forward but as of last week I am now moving to AZ!

So many more adventures to come. Just need to get the beast registered now!

So now that I am relocating I will be moving to an entirely different elevation and surrounded by mostly only 91 opposed to 93... Any good tuners out towards AZ or surrounding areas? Would be willing to trailer it for quality work.

Also trying to decide if I settle on moving into an apartment complex with a private garage instead of a house just for the sake of simplicity...

Holy hell it's been awhile...

Well time for some updates!!

After replacing a few components and rebuilding the head we threw some 2000cc injectors in and tuned it on some e70!

Then a few pulls later... Game over!

If you're gonna do it.. Mine as well over do it.

Clearances? What are those?

Damn, reading through this thread is a rollercoaster of emotions...

Based on your posts here you must have monk-like levels of patience to stay positive throughout your build.

Best of luck getting these hurdles sorted out.
