Hey everyone, so I decided to start this build thread for my progress on my build. So i bought an evo 8 about 2 years ago with 20k miles, unfortunately it had jdm swap due to previous seller parting out his car. Long story short, I had Undercover Performance ,in Maple Shade NJ, tune my car for me, 6 days later my engine blew up. Called them and their response was its "all Because of the ****ty engine you have". A little while after, i decided to start building my car.

My mod mod list consists of:
Buschur 2.4 long rod
Buschur stage 3 head
Kelford 272
AMS ignition system
Full blown double pump with 255s
Sheepey built Front facing twing scroll kit w/6870 1.00 ar
ID 2000cc
Magnus Fuel rail
aem v2
Driven Innovation intake manifold w/ Boomba TB
Sheepey 4.5 inch intercooler
Beanfab built tranny
Exedy Triple plate
Buddy club coilovers

I went to daily driven autosports (dda) in NY, at the time i had stock 6 speed, stock ignition, stock IM and TB, twin plate, and 1250 injectors. About a mile away from the shop after picking it up, my kevlar timing belt snapped which caused my valves to get bent. After talking to the shop and what have caused it, which remains unkown. Had to pay for the valves and timing belt. then after picking it up, the car was overheating, idiling at 2000 rpm, shuts down if cold started. So I basically parked the car and now i got in contact with Keith at beanfab, and were in the progress as of now. Thanks

So, the updates are:
we decided to go with 1-2 dogbox gears and 4.11 FD.
Also, going with fic 2150 instead of id 2000.
And was actually thinking about running set of 1250s and 2150s.
