The rear diff and ayc pump on the IV are equally susceptible to failure as the V and VI. Literally the same units.

Nice, but beware the typical Evo IV problems, as mentioned.
'murcans, the Evo 1 is legal for you IN LESS THAN A YEAR. My Evo 1 RS has an October, 1992 build date. It's basically a really light 2g DSM, but with more cool and more problems. Prices started going nuts on good ones in Japan awhile ago, they are getting harder to find. Food for thought.

I came over this article on facebook yesterday by random, so sad to see companies operating like this.
I googled rivsu a bit after to get more on them, seems like it has been a hit or miss, but with too many horror stories in there.
