2004 Evo VIII Build

2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (SSL)

Purchased last winter and drove it for a few of months before throwing on the Quickjack and thinking up a game plan.
Car's been rebuilt but seems to be in pretty good condition. Came from Texas before living in Chicago for a year.
Looking to build it into a weekend and occasional drag car but things have slowed down with everything going on in the world.
Still need to figure out fueling and some other odds and ends but should have everything needed by this summer.

The more I think about it the more I'm considering just running a single 450 until I start looking at motor builds. Should be more than enough to support 400/500whp on both 93/E85.

Carbonetics just shipped my Forged Carbon Fenders.
Really never been one for aesthetics but those really caught my eye.

yea should be just fine if you give it good power. For reference, on my 10, with PT5858, ID 1700, wally 450 with upgraded wiring (external digital controller) feeding it all the power and I maxed the pump out at 30psi, E79 at 8800rpm. 640whp DJ

Very slowly bolting stuff together. Just got my fuel setup from Radium but still need a few more pieces before I can drop the car off for tuning. Shooting for the Fall.

Updated Parts List. It's been so long.
Can't wait for the Spring so I can finish a few more installs and have this thing towed to the shop.

100k Stock Block. Not to mention trying to keep things a bit relaxed after finding a small trans leak from it having been grenaded and welded at some point during previous ownership. The entire build is a bit overkill right now but next Spring it'll be time for a new motor and trans.
